Budget Bytes – Quickly access Kardin support

Robert shows the fastest way to get help when you are stuck in Kardin: open a support ticket from inside the app, with the detail that lets the assigned support person start investigating right away.

TL;DR

You can open a support ticket without leaving Kardin. Go to Help, click Contact Kardin, choose the request type and severity, and describe what is going on in as much detail as you can. That detail lets the support person assigned to your ticket start investigating immediately instead of reaching out first to ask. If you cannot get into Kardin at all, the Contact Us page at kardin.com still takes tickets. And for how-to questions, the Customer Center is worth a look before you file.

Let’s say you are having some trouble. You are lost, or a budget is not behaving the way you expected, and you need help. You can always submit a ticket on the Kardin website. In this Budget Byte, Robert shows the quicker route, which lives inside the app itself.

Two clicks from wherever you are

Head to Help, then click Contact Kardin. That is the whole trip. The ticket form opens right there, so you are not leaving the property you were working in, hunting for a bookmark, or reconstructing what you were doing once you land on a separate page.

What to put in the ticket

Three things: the request type, how severe the problem is, and a summary of exactly what is going on, in the best detail you can manage. Which property, which screen, what you expected to see and what you saw instead. If a number looks wrong, say which number.

Robert’s point is that this is where the time gets saved. A ticket with the detail already in it lets the support person who gets assigned start investigating your problem right away, without having to reach out to you first. A ticket that just says “budget is wrong” means the first reply is a question, and you are a round trip further from an answer.

Before you file, try the Customer Center

One thing the video does not mention: plenty of questions already have an answer waiting in the Customer Center, Kardin’s knowledge base (sign-in required). How-to articles and training resources live there, and a two-minute search often beats a ticket. If the answer is not there, that is exactly what the ticket is for, and a note that you already looked saves your support person a step.

If you cannot get into Kardin

Sometimes the problem is that Kardin will not open at all. For that, the support ticket form on the Contact Us page of the Kardin website is still there, and it reaches the same support team.

Getting started

There is nothing to set up. Help and Contact Kardin are already in your Portal today. Next time you need a hand, try the in-app route first and see how much faster the first real reply arrives.
